Project: Business Model Innovation Process for Clark’s Potential New Business Opportunity

During the Babson Consulting Experience Course, I applied the principles of strategic consulting to develop an innovative solution for a potential new business opportunity within Clarks Shoes Company.

As part of a tactical and results-oriented exercise, I led a team in identifying, qualifying, and quantifying this opportunity. Our work included conducting primary and secondary market research, analyzing industry trends, and applying the Blue Ocean Strategy to develop a new and innovative business model integrated with the existing enterprise.

Through the seven-week module focused on market and industry analysis, blue ocean strategy analysis, and customer value proposition development, I gained hands-on experience utilizing the data-driven analysis to create innovative business models. My role in the project involved conducting primary and secondary market research, analyzing market trends, and developing a comprehensive pitch and presentation to communicate potential new business opportunities to executives. Through this process, I honed my oral and written communication skills and developed a deep understanding of the principles of strategic consulting. Moreover, I developed my skills in project management, strategic thinking, and communication. I also refined my ability to create comprehensive presentations for executive audiences.

Arguably, through this project, I demonstrated my ability to apply classroom learning to real-world business problems and successfully develop a relevant, action-oriented approach to a client. This project demonstrates my ability to:
